Course Description
This programme develops skills, knowledge and understanding of the special needs assistant role. The programme will promote good practice among those working with people with additional needs, special needs children in the primary or secondary classroom situation or as a community care assistant with individuals with special needs.

Primary and Secondary Schools employ Special Needs Assistants (SNA) to work in a variety of educational settings.
Erasmus
Every year a number of learners have the opportunity to travel to another European country for three weeks of fully funded work experience. The students attend work in their vocational area.
