Erasmus+ is the EU's programme to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe.
Students who are over the age of 18 and participating in a full-time course have the opportunity to complete work placements in their vocational area in Malaga, Spain. Placements are arranged with employers in the host country. 15 students from Dungarvan College each year get an opportunity to work abroad. Students who are successful in their application for Erasmus+ will qualify for a grant towards the cost of travel, accommodation and living expenses while abroad.
As well as the experience of work in another country in Europe students who complete Erasmus+ will also get the opportunity to experience different cultures, improve their language skills and travel within the host country.
