Course Content
A creative writing course suitable for beginners and emerging writers which explores different writing forms, styles and genres. To some extent, this course will be tailored to the needs of the class. Whether you are writing for therapy or for publication, for an audience or for yourself, there will be plenty of encouragement and feedback to help achieve your writing goals. We’ll also have some fun along the way.
Course Content: Topics covered will include:
- Flash fiction
- Short story
- Formal poetry formats (from Sonnets to Waterfords)
- Free-form & prose poetry
- Writing for therapy
- Longform fiction writing – novels, plays, film and TV
